My biggest polo mentor has to be Lucas Monteverde/ Jacinto Crotto.

What is the biggest piece of advice you can offer a woman getting into the sport of polo?
To work hard, show your enthusiasm - it will always pay off - on the field advice ‘ know where the other 7 players are whenever you arrive to the ball.

What’s a secret hidden talent?
Eating a ridiculous amount of chocolate

Meet Mica Saracco, American 5-goal player competing in this year’s Sunny Hale Invitational benefiting Susan G Komen, which begins tomorrow at La Herradura!

How long have you been playing polo?
I have been playing polo since i was a little girl. I played my first tournament at 7 years old.

Who is your mentor?
My biggest polo mentor is my dad. He’s always been my biggest supporter and my greatest teacher

Do you have any hidden talents?
I say my hidden talent is that im a pretty good painter. Its my favorite thing to do after polo.

What is your favorite thing about playing at La Herradura?
My favorite thing about playing at La Herradura is the community. There are always good vibes, outside and inside the field. It always makes the games and practices really fun. I also love that sometimes after practice we all have lunch together. A lot of clubs don’t have that, which makes La Herradura special.
